“The devil is in the detail” is an idiom that refers to a mysterious element hidden in the details, meaning that something might seem simple at a first look but will take more time and effort to complete than expected!
A lot of time and patience went into these steps and railings. All of the railings were stained and finished with two coats of Oil Based Polyurethane. All of the trim (including spindles, risers, newel posts, stringers and baseboard) were Sanded, Cleaned and Painted with two coats of Ben Moore Advanced Trim Paint to match the existing trim color.
