To achieve optimal results it depends on what material your cabinets are made of.  Generally speaking most cabinets are made of wood. However, engineered wood cabinets might be made from MDF, plywood, particleboard and covered with veneer, thermofoil or laminate. These types of cabinets are not ideal to paint, due to sandability,  adhesion and structural integrity. Surface preparation is a key part of any painting project. Exterior steel is no exception. For this steel painting project located in Howard County, MD we first started with a thorough wash to clean all the dirt and mold. During the pressure washing we utilized a high powered rotatory turbo nozzle to assist in removing loose and pealing paint. After the wash was completed and the steel was dry we then continued the prep with electric wire wheels to removed any remaining paint as best as possible.  Then onto priming with an Industrial Grade Metal Primer and painting two coats with an Industrial Grade Metal Paint.

This kitchen is in Sykesville, MD and we helped their kitchen go from a brown stained cabinet to a beautiful Off White and Blue combination. This really transformed the space and made the entire kitchen look bigger. Aside from bright white the second most popular kitchen cabinet color is off-white or a cream color. Bedroom Painting in Glenwood MD

When Painting a bedroom there are many steps to do before painting can even begin. The first thing we do is move all of the furniture in order to access the surfaces being painted. For protection, all of the furniture gets covered with lightweight plastic. Next we cover all of the floors with drop clothes, and remove all hardware (hooks, curtain rods, door handles, etc..). After that comes the surface prep.  The cracks, nail holes and imperfections get repaired. All surfaces to be painted are sanded, cleaned and trim is caulked as needed. Then we spot prime the repairs and get ready for painting!
