For this interior project located in Glenwood, MD, We first started by encapsulating the room to keep dust and debris from entering other rooms. Then masked off everything not being painted, filled holes, then sanded, primed, extensively sanded everything again, cleaned, and finally caulked.
NOW WE ARE READY TO START PAINTING!!!
In order to give the trim that perfectly smooth look, we sprayed it all with a fine finish tip. Finally the last step, we brush and rolled the walls.

This project was a two story office building located in Sykesville, MD with numerous rooms, offices and hallways. The entire building received a complete color change. Going from a variety of outdated depressing browns to updated Benjamin Moore colors, Beacon Gray 2128-40, Smoke 2122-40 and Van Courtland Blue HC-145 giving this space an entirely new look and feel.

This project located in Glenwood, MD was a complete first floor repaint. Also included in the full color change was the painting of numerous carpentry upgrades such as a bookshelves, shoe cubbies, and shiplap. Benjamin Moore’s Himalayan Trek #1542 paired with Bright White really accentuates these accents and makes them stand out!

Ring in a new kitchen for 2023!
Check out this first floor and basement we recently completed in Woodbine, MD. This was a remodel project that Painting Contractors of MD did the final painting.
The first floor was painted with Sherwin Williams SW7015 REPOSE GRAY, including stained beams to match the floor.
The basement was also painted with Sherwin Williams SW7015 REPOSE GRAY, including a flat black ceiling to give it that industrial look.

Here are a couple highlights from one of our recently completed, new home projects. This  modern farm house built by Mulloy Builders Inc. has all the bells and whistles. Including custom accent walls, board and batten, and ship lap.

 

For the majority of this project we used Benjamin Moore Regal Paint tinted to Sherwin Williams 4007 Origami White. Some of the custom accents included Iron Ore SW 7069, Gracious Greige SW 2456, relentless Olive SW 6425 and Cascades SW 7623.

Another incredible exterior job wrapped up for the fall season— we are thrilled how this job turned out! This historic barn in Howard County, MD was in desperate need of restoration— this barn is over 100 years old, and our crew took great pride in restoring it. After hours of scraping and sanding, our crew used a coat of MAD DOG Dura-Prime Stabilizing Bonding Primer, then another two finishing coats, to extend the life of this barn another couple years.

The Mad Dog family of high-performance acrylic latex primers is perfect for this kind of historic building, and was engineered to solve challenging architectural paint problems, ensuring longer lasting paint job life and greater durability than traditional primers. This beautiful home in Finksburg MD looks surreal with its fresh coat of Sherwin Willams exterior paint— it almost blends completely into the landscape! We were really proud to have been able to work on this home, and make it stand out in the neighborhood.

Although the exterior paint color comes from Sherwin Williams, we used a Benjamin Moore product called ArborCoat Solid Stain. ArmorCoat is a fantastic product— its ultra-flat finish hides imperfections on exterior surfaces, and can be used on all types of wood and properly-cured stucco, masonry, manufactured and fiber-cement siding. It offers an incredible UV protection— particularly with this type of home which is exposed to sun all day long. It also resists stains and scuffs, and provides a mildew-resistant coating. This beautiful paint finish will last for many years to come due to the high quality products Painting Contractors of MD uses, and the high level of professionalism and skill of our crew.
