Our Exterior Process:
- Most full exterior repaints will require a complete wash to ensure a clean surface for painting. Painting Contractors of MD uses a low pressure pressure-washing system and the correct chemical applications to properly clean while protecting wood and other paintable surfaces. High pressure should never be used on wood and other delicate surfaces.
- Complete masking and covering of areas not to be painted (windows, roofs, concrete, landscaping, furniture, decks, patios, etc).
- Scraping to remove all loose and failing paint.
- Cutting out and removing all failing caulk. Re-caulking as needed with the highest quality caulk.
- Sanding all surfaces to be painted.
- Spot priming all bare wood areas left from scraping and sanding.
- Application of high quality paint with excellent coverage and durability.
- Daily job site cleanup and organization of all tools and equipment.
