Commercial Painters in Columbia, MD
After receiving multiple bids, and meeting with multiple Painting Contractors, Humanim Inc —a mental health organization that offers workplace development, human services, youth services, and social enterprise located in Howard County, MD— knew Painting Contractors of MD was the right fit for the job.
Humanim focuses on human impact and empowering individuals facing social or economic challenges. Their mission statement is working “tirelessly to build pathways to employment, personal autonomy, and economic opportunity for those who need it most”. We’re proud to be working with such an incredible organization, and helping keep the building beautiful and welcoming with fresh paint and our friendly crew!
This project was to paint every room in the school. Painting an entire school takes not only the knowledge of painting but the knowledge of strategic planning and sequencing, with minimal disruption for a professional, incredible final product. The goal was to complete this job in a short timeframe with as little disruption to visitors and staff as possible, and we accomplished that. Having the right employees— who know how to work together well— makes all the difference!

Our crew from Painting Contractors getting to work in the hallway, using a fresh Sherwin Williams blue to create a calming vibe on the interior.
Our crew carefully adding in the edging in the bathroom, making sure the paint is perfectly lined up and spot-on before getting started on the bulk of the walls. We made sure not only the paint is 100% perfect, but clean up every spot and make sure the leave the rooms looking perfectly clean along with a complete color refresh.
Note the drop-cloths Painting Contractors of MD uses on the floor, to make sure we leave every surface spotless when we finish. Here our crew refreshes a bland white with a fresh Sherwin Williams color with a little warmth that completely changes the tone of the room.
Here we add in edging to make sure the new coat of paint is perfect.
Note the playful vibe, with the shelf a warm, Sherwin Williams deep wine color, and a fun stripe going across the wall to divide up the colors.
